congealedmeat Big Bill Broonzy is probably my favorite blues artist. He has such a smooth voice and he has so many great guitar lines.

This is a great compilation of songs interspersed with some interesting interviews. Definitely worth a listen/buy. Favorite track: When Will I Get To Be Called A Man?.

I have hand-dubbed just 25 of these tapes. That's all that will be made. Get them while they're hot, as the kids say. Though, not actually hot. It's best to keep your tapes out of direct sunlight or other exposure to heat.

about

This is part one of a two-part mixtape featuring songs and interviews recorded between 1930 and 1957 by blues singer Big Bill Broonzy. Curated by OMO label dude, C.J. Boyd, this collection highlights the uniquely American intersection of travel, race, love, and poverty.
