    The CD comes in a handmade cover of very thin plastic that has been etched with sandpaper to give it a rough and dusty surface. Four metal eyelets were then hammered into the plastic to hold it together. And finally a spring made out of piano-wire functions as closing-mechanism. Probably not going to make more of these covers since it took an extreme amount of time.

For this album the melodies have played the role as god. The melodies have been the guiding principle that has determined all other musical aspects from instrumentation to form and mood. As with Ghost Flute & Dice´s debut album there is an extremely manipulated acoustic piano at the center of everything, but on "melody is god" the soundspace has been further expanded with the addition of violin, saxophone, vocals, soundscapes, drones and a few field recordings as well. Seen as a whole the album has elements of electronica, ambient, freeform, glitch and more. But the melodies themselves vary quite a lot: where one flies like a swallow in and out of reality, another slowly plows its way through a dry and meaningless landscape. And so the numbers vary from melodic chamberplay to reckless experimentalism.
